Jason Yoshioka | Creative Director + Founder

Jason graduated from Kwantlen University College with certificate in Graphic and Visual Design in 1994.

Prior to founding Italic Pixel Design, Jason worked at some of Vancouver’s top advertising firms gaining valuable knowledge in applying creativity to business strategies.

In 1999, Jason formed JY Design Communications which became Italic Pixel Design in 2003.

Jason combines his listen first, ask questions, then design approach, with his love of all things design. He continues to build powerful brands across a multitude of mediums and helps our business partners achieve sustainable results.

Tom Chan | Creative Director

Graduating with a Commerce Degree (Marketing and Management) set Tom on a bipolar career path - a creative trapped in a suit. A subsequent diploma in Graphic Design helped loosen the tie. Plus he hates ironing.

Tom’s diverse experience is garnered from years of experience in various design companies, brand agencies, multinational ISPs, advertising firms, in Sydney, London and Vancouver.

With the marriage form and function being the master of all things, Tom is dedicated to combining solid business principles and design creativity to create
value in all projects.
